"Mornin', Misty." He said, nodding at her. He looked over at Brock, seeing the older boy distracted by cooking. He turned back to Misty, having an inner war about when this idea was going to be put into action.
Well, he did still have morning wood, so why the hell not?
"Misty, I need to talk to you. Can we go for a walk?" Ash asked, not surprised by the blush on Misty's cheeks. Any time the two were along, she would get nervous and blush constantly. "It won't be long, I promise."
"O-Of course, Ash!" Misty stammered, nodding her head. "Let me just go put Togepi with Pikachu and we can go." Misty placed her egg-shelled Pokemon on the ground, watching as it happily waddled over to Ash's electric mouse. She turned back to Ash, smiling. "Let's go."
Ash let her deep into the forest, keeping an eye out for any Pokemon or people that could possibly interrupt them. Luckily, he didn't spot anything, so it looked like this would go without a hitch – Provided, of course, Misty agreed. If not, his Pokemon journey was about to get a lot more painful, and … Well, probably a lot more jail time, but that's a risk his lower-head was forcing him to take.
