He didn't feel much better, mostly due to all of the noise coming from the cars, horns, angry drivers, he wondered how effective road rage could be, just yelling to pass the time until the traffic jam cleared, didn't anyone realize that they could just listen to the radio, try taking the longer route like he was doing, or just not drive? Many solutions, yet the masses kept choosing the most time wasting of all, the automobile.He shook his head as he left the busy street and quickened his pace to a jog, not only was he feeling a bit more energy that day, but he couldn't wait to see her again, he had to get home soon. As he jogged, he smiled, not only at what he felt had to be fate, but the scenery, as it changed from busy city to quiet suburbs, he loved that he was still living here, as opposed to his siblings, though he couldn't see why they would have left, it was a great house. 2 stories, decent sized front and back yard, enough rooms for 7 people, never mind the 5 of them that had been calling the place home. As he opened the front door, he was greeted by a woman, clearly aging, but still in good shape, with red hair, a few graying here and there, who asked, "Is that you, dear?" coming out to see him, smiling when he held up the bags. |
