When the pirates caught Katara, Zuko rushed in the woods to get Aang. The pirates used a sneak attack to capture her, and when they did they quickly put a gag on her mouth. Katara tried screaming through her gag. “Throw her down”, yelled the Pirate Captain, “We’ve got something better than the scroll.” The crew threw the confused Katara to the ground. Each of them got the four corners of her body. She lay there pinned to the sand waiting for something to happen. Slowly, the pirates tied her up and took her on their ship.
Katara was thrown onto the sip and as soon as she got on the pirates set sail. “Crew, we are gonna have a long night”, the Pirate Captain said with glee. They chained Katara, this time in thick metal cuffs. “Take her to the dungeon!”, commanded the Pirate Captain and leave immediately.
Down in the dungeon there was a cold metal floor they threw her on and all the crew left the room. Katara lay there in pain waiting for someone to save her, something to happen.
About 10 minutes later, Katara heard the door screech. “Hello”, she said, “Unchain me at once you filthy bastards!” In came a shadow. The face was not seen in this dark dungeon. “What did you say?”, said a voice Katara was familiar voice. The Pirate Captain. A lash whipped her belly and she immediately fell chest first onto the floor.
